Our church has something for everyone! Every person matters to us. We have a specific place for all, from newborns all the way through grandparents. We encourage each attendee or member to join a life group. There is no better way to connect with others on a more personal level and to dive deeper into your study of the scriptures. Getting involved in a life group means that you will always have a group of committed Christ-followers at your side helping you through tough times and celebrating the good ones.
In addition to life groups, we have several distinct ministries. We have a children's ministry, youth ministry, worship ministry, women's ministry, men's ministry, and a ministry to those 55 and older. Each has a leader committed to its success. Community Groups
We have several Community Groups that meet throughout the week! Community groups are small groups that meet on our campus. The purpose of a Community Group is to connect with others in an authentic way. We share our trials, our successes, and our burdens with one another on a daily basis, and we seek the Lord together. In this way, our faith is strengthened. Each group has about 10 to 15 people at most so that we can truly know one another. Community Kids' Ministry
Here at Community Baptist Church, we make it a priority to make an eternal difference in the life of your child. It is our prayer that each child would come to know the Lord and learn foundational, biblical truths on which to build his or her life. We do this by establishing real relationships with one another, by studying God’s word, and by applying those truths to our lives. We have fun while learning about our faith!
Illuminate Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry is a great way for teens to come together for fun, worship, and teaching that promotes Christ-centered living as students navigate daily life. If you are a student or are a parent of a student that would like to find out more about our teen activities, please click the link below.
Young Adult Ministry
Our Young Adult Ministry offers a place to gather for those who are college and career-aged (through age 35) and looking to connect with other young adults. We offer times of worship, teaching, and off-campus activities. Contact Pastor Jim Lain for more information!
Women's Ministry
The focus of the Women's Ministry is to encourage women to grow together as sisters in Christ. We want to grow in discipleship, fellowship, and service. Our ministry is active with quarterly events and weekly Bible studies. Join us!
Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry is an active group of men who meet weekly for Bible study and other times throughout the year for special events like the monthly men's breakfast!
The Encouragers 55+ Ministry
Our 55+ Ministry meets on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in the main auditorium to sing, to fellowship, and to hear an encouraging word from Pastor Howard. We also meet on Tuesday evenings at 5 p.m. in the C Building for Bible study. We also host special events throughout the year!
